This award was established by the Board of Regents as a national award in January 2003. Dr. Johnson served as Governor, Regent, Treasurer, Interim Executive Vice President, and ACP Senior Vice President for Membership.
Complete applications, including three letters of support and the applicant’s curriculum vitae with complete bibliography must be submitted by April 1. (Note that the number of letters and due date are different than for other awards or for Masterships.) Potential contributors for letters of support include the candidate's ACP Governor, Program Director and colleagues as well as the initial nominating physician.
