Professional Liability

Doctors across the country face prohibitively large increases when they renew the professional liability insurance necessary to continue treating patients. Professional liability insurers are leaving states with higher claim rates, dropping physicians in high risk specialities or just plain refusing to issue professional liability insurance to physicians. Physicians, emergency and trauma rooms are faced with paying steeper bills, changing insurance carriers, halting high-risk procedures or closing their doors altogether.
